Jasper Chia . Director ()
35 year old Jasper Chia grew up watching his architect father at work and was intrigued by how useful things were made for people, and how in turn, an architect actively engages with the growth of a city.

From snooping around his father's office and construction sites, Jasper proceeded to study architecture at the University of Auckland. He graduated with first class honours in 2000.

Moving to London where he worked and lived for the next six years, Jasper managed to gain valuable experience as a young designer in an extremely design-savvy city. In 2001, Jasper staged a video installation at Archilab France and in the following year had collaborated with renowned Singaporean architects Linghao and Tan Kok Meng to put up a video exhibition in Copenhagen.

Jasper returned to Singapore in 2006 to set up FUUR Associates with Teo
Ken-Hin.

Jasper enjoys swimming, especially in the open sea in his free time.

Ken-Hin Teo . Director ()
Ken began his architectural journey with an education at Singapore Polytechnic’s Department of Architecture & Technology in 1993. Upon graduation, he proceeded to further his studies in London at the Architectural Association, a prestigious establishment regarded as one of the most renowned and influential schools of architecture in the world.

Curious to see if he could create opportunities to express his own take on design, Ken barely spent eight months as a junior designer in a small firm before setting up FUUR Associates with a like-minded partner in 2006; Driven to do so by a passion to rethink the local built landscape in Singapore in both big and small ways.

Ken personally still believes that architects have the ability to affect a society’s culture through their work. With that in mind, his quest to inject his interpretation of “built relevance” has led him to create thought provoking works in the both the residential and commercial markets, with a focus on the F&B sector.

The 33-year-old bachelor is also an avid car enthusiast, seeing them as a quick barometer in the world of design. In his free time, he rides his very old-but-trusty mountain bike.

Dean Chew . Partner ()
Dean was brought up in a family where both parents were architects. At an early age, he developed a keen interest in illustration that later evolved into a fascination for architecture.

Upon graduating from the University of Western Australia with first class honours in Architecture, Dean proceeded to hone his design skills as an intern with Tan Guan Bee Architects and Andrew Tan Architects. Subsequently, he joined Kerry Hill Architects and Enviro Tec in Jakarta before realizing that he needed to expand his personal horizon and architectural expertise. He joined FUUR Associates as a partner in 2007.

In the rare moments that Dean is not busy running the FUUR practice, he
finds solace in his other passion, music. Going by the moniker DJ Funk
Bast*rd, Dean has formed an amicable partnership with a talented local
saxophonist Kaye. The dynamic duo, also known as Cosa Nostra has been
pushing the local music scene forward with eclectic and soulful beats for the past decade.
